Cambridge University Eco Racing partner with Wurth Electronics UK

A new partnership has begun between CUER and leading electronic and electromechanical components manufacturer, Wurth Electronics UK, as the team makes progress on the development of the team’s next vehicle, SC7, designed for the World Solar Challenge - the next race due to take place in Summer 2027.

Wurth Electronics UK’s wide-ranging expertise in the fields of active, passive, optoelectronic and electromechanical components, wireless connectivity & sensors, power modules and custom connectors will see their hardware embedded within SC7, supported by their expert technical know-how. Before CUER return to Australia, Wurth Electronics UK's branding will already be seen across the team’s vehicles this summer as the team embarks on a summer of engagement events across the UK.
